Woven for tops - this yardage was designed in thirds. The first third was brown and silver warp, second third was a solid golden brown, the top third was black and silver. This versatile neutral-toned base allowed me to weave in colors that were more saturated like blue and wine. I try no keep each color from dominating - I love to see what new colors result from the combining of so many different individual yarns.
Woven on my Macomber loom with 8 harnesses at 48 end per inch in a twill weave structure.
Finished in the end of 2017.
