This sweater is handwoven with bamboo yarns. The fabrics are from two different warps made years apart. The sleeves and neck fabric were woven first (maybe 5 years ago), not enough to make a top or a loop scarf as I might usually do but I made myself a small top with it and wore it to a few fancy affairs including a friend’s wedding.

The blue and green fabric was made about a year or so ago and was made specifically for tops. I had enough sitting around to make one more top out of it but hadn’t gotten around to it.

I had been dreaming about making some sweaters or cozy wraps to be worn around the house for a while and during the last year I’ve started listening to these little idea-whims and prioritizing my time so I can experiment. It’s been totally worth it :)

These two fabrics are excellently playful and sophisticated together - the result of years of work coming together in a weekend of cutting and draping and playing at the sewing machine.

Machine wash in cool water, dry on low heat, iron if needed.
