Also know as a round cushion or zafu, I have made these meditation seats with scraps of handwoven fabric on the top. Pieced together from the center out and in a way that resembles a log cabin quilt block (one of my favorites as it reminds me of my grandmother). The block itself is reinforced so it can withstand being pulled over a zafu pillow filled with buckwheat hulls or other materials.

This is a cover only but you can purchase the insert here as well. I have a limited quantity of 5 pound inserts filled with organic buckwheat hulls. (You can select with or without insert below)

The sides and base are cotton duck cloth in a deep navy. The side has an opening (much like an envelope) that is roomy enough to tuck your cushion into.

Width across is 15” and height is about 7”

Machine washable and full of charm.
