Handcrafted Christmas at Addison Farms Vineyard

  • Addison Farms Vineyard

Visit us for our local holiday tradition of handcrafted artisan crafts, food and wine. For our 3rd annual A Handcrafted Christmas, we will feature more than ten local vendors with their handmade goodies, selections will include jewelry, wreaths, art and chocolates.

In the spirit of giving back to the community, Addison Farms Vineyard will be offering a complimentary wine tasting with every $10 donation at the door to Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy (SAHC), and Addison Farms will be matching up to $500 in donations. SAHC is a local nonprofit land trust who has partnered with many families in the surrounding Sandy Mush area to preserve their family farms and their scenic mountains. They will be utilizing all donations from this event to continue the conservation efforts in Sandy Mush.

Connections: a Local Cloth Exhibit

Coinciding with American Craft Week, Connections will showcase our local Fibershed. Here in Western North Carolina we are fortunate to have many fiber farmers, dyers, felters, knitters, weavers, fiber artists, designers, seamstresses...we want to encourage awareness of their work.

As a part of this month long exhibit we will be showcasing collaborative works between fiber/dye farmers and fiber artists. There will be demonstrations and lectures, community activities and the opportunity to purchase and take a bit of this work home with you. We hope you will join us for this event and learn more about the love that goes in to making a piece of cloth.
